Night 1:   Hanoi to Lao Cai by the night train 4 berth soft sleep
At  7:30 pm transfer from your hotel to the Hanoi train station for boarding at 9:15 pm. You will be in shared AC soft sleeper cabins of 4 to travel North to Lao Cai town. The next morning: The train arrives in Lao Cai at about 5:00 am where your Sapa Smile Travel guide will welcome you. Look for the "Sapa Smile Travel" sign when you exit the train station. Then take a morning drive through the clouds by car / van to Sapa (about 1hours). When you arrive in Sapa you will be taken to Emotion Hotel for a morning shower & breakfast, Early check in the hotel if the room here is available, then prepare for the trek as detailed below

Day 1:  Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai- Sapa (B, L, D)

Transfer 6 km by jeep then walk on 2 km down to Lao Chai village, a large village of the H’mong peoples, you can paying visiting to local homes, village schools… you will enjoy much your cultural discovery of local ethnic peoples as well as breathtaking scenery of the Muong Hoa Valley. And keep walking 3 km Ta Van village of the Dzay minority. Lunch at a local family in Ta Van, all for you to discover their daily life, works and special custom, enjoy landscapes… Leaving Ta Van village and following the foot path uphill, you will pass through impressive terraced rice paddies on the hill slopes before getting through a bamboo forest, a waterfall to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Zao and Giay peoples. Walking around the village you will meet many women with their embroidery work to make their traditional dresses, occasionally you can see the blacksmiths making farming tools and even hunting riffles. Passing the Muong Hoa river you see a suspension rattan bridge and then trek uphill to Su Pan village passing the rocks field with unique carving which is believed to be the messages of the ancient peoples. In this village you will see the special technique to build houses on the steep rocky land. From Su Pan you will drive on a Jeep back to Sapa to check in the hotel of your choice, Having dinner and free time to discover Sapa town romantic, to take part in Sapa Love Market if you are on Sunday.

Night 3:  Lao Cai to Ha Noi by 4 berth soft sleeper tourist sharing cabin.

At 6:00 pm, you will be transfered by a tourist shared bus to Laocai train station, then take the night train back to Hanoi. End of the trip.
