Sapa Trekking 5 days & 6 nights. Visit Lao Chai, Ta Van, Ban Ho and Thanh Phu with 10 villages of 5 different minorities. Private tour – Daily departure. This is the most sapa adventure and exposure with a big trek through most of the trible villages in Sapa, totally enjoy and study the Sapa lanscape and local tribes.

Night 1:  Ha Noi - Lao Cai (Overnight on the train)

8h30pm Sapa Smiletravel tours 's taxi take you from your hotel in Hanoi to Hanoi Railway Station for the night train at 9:30 PM to get to Laocai Station. Sleep on the train. (4 people/cabin or 2 people/cabin on request).

Day 2:  Lao Cai - Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van( 5h trekking, 14Km, 3 villages; B, L, D)

  Picked up at Laocai Station early in the morning by our bus. Arrive at Sapa round 7:00 AM; Take a room for your shower before enjoy your breakfast in Sapa  restaurant, Prepare to start your trek at 9h30am to get to Y Linh Ho then Laochai village.

This part offers spectacular scenery of the highest part of Hoang Lien Son mountain range and in a nice day, Fansipan Peak can be seen. Crossing the river by a suspension bridge you will challenge your feet uphill to Y Linh Ho village. Here you will pay visiting to some H’mong families, watching them doing their daily works. After picnic Lunch, the trail continues up and down hill for about 2 hours as you reach to Lao Chai, a large village of the H’mong and then following the river bank to Ta Van of the Zay people, paying visiting to local homes, village schools… you will enjoy much your cultural discovery of local ethnic peoples as well as breathtaking scenery of the Muong Hoa Valley. Tonight you will enjoy a home stay in Ta Van Village.

Day 3:  Ta Van - Ban Ho (7 hours trekking, 18 Km, 3 villages; B, L, D) 

Leaving Ta Van village after Breakfast and following the foot path uphill, you will pass through impressive terraced rice paddies on the hill slopes before getting through a bamboo forest, a waterfall to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Zao and Giay peoples. Walking around the village you will meet many women with their embroidery work to make their traditional dresses, occasionally you can see the blacksmiths making farming tools and even hunting riffles. Passing the Muong Hoa river again and then trek uphill to Su Pan village of H’mong peoples.In this village you will see the special technique to build houses on the steep rocky land. Get off the road to go down hill to BanHo village. Overnight at Ban Ho with a Tay family who have houses on stilts. Picnic lunch on the way and dinner at the family.


Day 4:  Ban Ho - Thanh Phu (7 hours trekking, 15 Km, 3 villages; B, L, D)

Get up early in the morning for fresh air and peaceful daily life of the people. Breakfast and leave the village for a hard day. Walk uphill to a smallest and almost untouched village of the Red Dzao (Namtoong). Go further to another village on the same side of the mountain range to see the XaPho ethnic group in NamKen. Get down to the river and go up to MiSon to visit the XaPho again. Spend the night in ThanhPhu village at a Tay family. Picnic lunch on the way and dinner with the local family.

Day 5: Thanh Phu - Ban Ho - Sapa (12Km with 4 hours trekking and 30 Km by Jeep; B, L, D

Breakfast at ThanhPhu village. Walk back to Ban Ho village where to take a jeep back to Sapa. On the way back, visit the ancient stone circle (stones decorated with ancient carvings which are said to have described the life of the people lost in the mists of prehistory). Lunch at Ban Ho and dinner in Sapa. Get a room in Sapa for shower and have free time to vissit Sapa until leaving for the night train.

Night 6:  Lao Cai to Ha Noi by 4 berth soft sleeper tourist sharing cabin

At 6:00 pm, you will be transfered by a tourist shared bus to Laocai train station, then take the night train back to Hanoi. End of the trip.
