RoK, DPRK hold nuclear talks in Beijing

The top nuclear envoy of the Republic of Korea (RoK) Wi Sung-lac and his counterpart Ri Yong-ho of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Sept. 21 met in Beijing to pave the way for restarting the six-party talks on the nuclear issue in the Korean Peninsula.
According to the Chinese Central Television, the two sides had straight forward discussion on conditions put forward by the US and the RoK to resume the six-party talks, which has been interrupted since April, 2009. |
